This is so cool! We are a family on a similar journey - just without the car. Originally from Maryland - we've been living in Seattle, WA for 14 years and decided to grab the kids for a year in the world. We are in Cusco. Peru now and happy to give local advice. We will be making our way through Chile from October 21 - December 3. It would be great to meet you guys in or near Puerto Montt in Mid November. Anne and Noah, I would love to hear more about your adventures - it sounds amazing and what a great year for the kids! Unfortunately we won't have made it to Chile yet in November to meet up with you (we will probably be in Mexico then) but I know you will enjoy your stay at Casa Perla - it comes highly recommended ;) Maybe if you are still travelling as we get closer we will have a chance to meet up.
